This is a call-and-echo-and-then-together zipper song about connecting with sources of support that can hold us through the bigness of our feelings, through the joy and tears. I wrote this song for a friend who was about to go into labor. It is full of my amazement and admiration and deep respect for all people who give birth – JUST WOW. I’ve since sung it for many people about to become parents, people in the healing process (which really is all of us), and for celebrating our collective strength.
