This is a great opening or closing song. I like to teach both parts and invite people to choose one or the other, or switch back and forth. People will often “freestyle” harmonize on the second part that just sings “grateful” over and over.

I wrote this song while spending time by the Atlantic Ocean, feeling and noticing my gratitude and the gifts of the waves rolling in and out, in reciprocity.
