This is a song that can be sung as just the melody in unison which can be a satisfying, simple way to begin a circle. Adding the other parts is beautiful if the group is looking for a little more complexity.

This song was inspired by a radio program I heard about the physiological effects of humming in calming the nervous system – so I did some experimenting and found that, wow, it really worked for me! So I wanted to create a song that would give us some practice in humming to ground ourselves in the present moment, and a way to welcome and affirm the sanctity of all the voices in the room.
