This is a simple zipper song celebrating all the ways we can carry ourselves through the wild ride of life. I wrote it as an audience participation song for an operetta I was involved in retelling the story of Homer’s Odyssey, featuring the music of Claudio Monteverdi’s 1639 opera ll ritorno d’Ulisse in Patria (The Return of Ulysses to his Homeland) and the tunes of Dolly Parton (it was an awesome mash-up!!).
