This is a mostly-parallel-harmony three part arrangement of Bridge. Sometimes, I also just teach the melody, and perhaps accompany the group on a shruti box, bringing in some of the drone notes in these harmonies. The song was inspired by thoughts I have about connecting with my ancestors, my ancestral language and music… grounding myself in the wisdom of all the people who came before me and all that I am called to carry that wisdom towards.
